Cheers Ponies, Mom

McKenna has really been loving pony tails over the last month. I've got her sportin' pig tails most days, and I love, love, love, love it. On one of the first days we started pony tails, I told her I would wear one too, and she could be just like mommy. That worked for her, and so we both wore low pony. Later that day McKenna slowly walked into my office, which she is not allowed to do when I am working. I saw something special in her eyes, and I decided not to comment on it. She walked up to me with so much confidence and she tweaked her head around so her pony was facing me. She put her head toward me and said, "Cheers Ponies, Mom. Cheers." She wanted us to bunk heads together like glasses for, "Cheers." Apparently, Cheers and matchy, matchy, mean the same thing to Kenna. Matching ponies? Cheers ponies, Mom. Loved it!

When the hairs start to get messed up and fall out of her pony tail, McKenna calls this, "The pony got broken, Mom." Tonight while she was going potty before bed she said, "You make me a new pony, mom? This one is all broken." I said, "Ok, but why don't you could just sleep with no pony tonight?" That would be more comfortable." She said to me, "Why don't I sleep with yes pony?"

One day in Mexico she had in pony tails, and one of the sides fell out at like 9 in the morning. She kept the other one in ALL day. Happy as a clam!!
