About Me

Owner of the Band
I am the mother of Quinn and McKenna and Lizza and Charlie a full-time teacher at Western Governors University. I love yoga and play dates and chocolate. I am converting from jeans to hiking pants to full-time leggings, and I'm searching for the perfect balance between independent, frumpy mom and still kind of sexy. A few years ago I sold my houses in Utah and moved to a tiny, old Victorian dump in Colorado -- on purpose. I am trying to be more honest in everything that I am. I keep a complete blog of my own life and thoughts at Owneroftheband.blogspot.com. But the real complete blog is at honestcolorado.blogspot.com. That blog is, of course, private to protect the innocent. Two years ago we dropped Mormonism like a hot rock, and we are still navigating a new world of honest, sad, and hopeful.
