I love a good text conversations. Here are my favorites from this week:

May 4, 6:33 a.m. (The day after I posted the final grades)
My punk Student: Did I get a C in your class? Also, is my debate and discussion grade really a 2 out of 10?
Me: Are you really texting me at 6:30 a.m.? :)
My punk student: (Silence)

May 5, 10:28 p.m.
My sister: I'm sitting here crying. I just laughed so hard at your post about Quinn's monster nose pick that I am still having a hard time even typing this because I keep reliving it in my head. Hilarious. Sometimes things just resonate! I love you and your way with words.
Me: Thanks!! I'm calling you tomorrow at 7 a.m. on my way back from dropping off mom. Be up and be ready. We've GOT to catch up.
My sister: I'll be ready. Hopefully I'll be able to stop laughing soon so I can go to bed!!
Me: Now I am reliving it and laughing too!
My sister: Now I am picturing you laughing with your boobies and belly flopping about. Now I know I'll never stop laughing!

April 27, 10:36 a.m. (Same punk Student at above) (Finals Week)
My punk student: How hard is your test?
Me: Hard, but I think I forgot to submit it to the testing center.
My punk student: Are you kidding? So, I can't take it today? You know, you could just give me a B+ and we'll call it even.
Me: No
My punk student: which question were you referring to?
Me: First and third statements
My punk student: So, I can take it today?
Me: No
My punk student: So, 'no' to all three.
Me: No, you said, so I can't take it today? And the answer to that is yes, that is correct.
My punk student: Okay. You don't want to tell me which cases I'll be writing super long essays about, do you?
Me: nope
My punk student: didn't think so.
Me: I can't remember
My punk student: right.
