My Mom

How great is my mom? She totally came out here for a few days and was crazy helpful.

She is so good with Quinn. She did everything! I never even lifted Quinn to put her in the car the whole time my mom was here.

While she was here we went to a nice dinner, had meals with two of my closest friends to talk about McKenna and plans for the birth, took back more crap to Ikea, searched for rugs, found and organized the 0-6 month baby clothes, stayed up too late, went to a Dr's appointment so mom could meet my favorite midwife, and bought me a summer maternity wardrobe so I can feel beautiful for the next few weeks (when I am, in fact, a beached whale.)

What a woman! She also got up with Quinn in the night and in the morning, cleaned up the toys dozens of times, did the dishes, made some great meals, gave great advise, learned the ropes for when I'm in the hospital ... and the list goes on.

Kristie, come visit.... I got some chores for you... :)

And Avery comes in less than 4 weeks. I can't wait to play with her.
