Everyone in Utah knows that Tim's coworker Susan Powell is still missing.
The whole situation is horrible, and it kills me that people live in situations that lead to this.
Every time I am close to a person affect by domestic abuse, it makes me want to get more involved with the cause. I posted about a year ago that a very dear loved one of mine was finally out of an abusive relationship. I think talking with her and helping her through that is one of the reasons I am planning on going into counseling psychology as my new field of study. I have 5 out of 6 applications turned in. Fingers crossed.
No one should have to be hurt or miserable at home. No one.

Quinn gets a new outdoor hobby, Tim heads East for a month long tour, and I barf a lot when discovering i'm alergic to veggies after becoming a vegan. Short lived earthy Journey.

Quinn finds the best part of the Phoenix Zoo, and we head all over the place for a lot of 60th birthdays.

Quinn watches Elmo from the hospital for two days after a scary illness while Tim was touring with the Band in Japan.

Quinn's all better but wants yet another pony ride at the Thanksgiving Point Farm.

Mom's back to work, Dad leaves on his last tour, but all the fun continues. And we make a baby ... before Tim leaves.

Avery comes home. Tim runs a race, and Grandma Jan leaves us at Thanksgiving with 7 jars of apple sause that only lastest a few days.

We start selling our stuff so we can survive the Winter. But life is good and happy again, and I finally hit my second trimester.

Tim gets a job offer with Wells Fargo in Salt Lake two days before Christmas. Wahoo! We can eat. It's a Thanksgiving Miracle.

We live it up with Daddy before he goes back to work! We eat out and spend all kinds of money!
