When McKenna is wet after the bath, she puts her towel on and then comes to me. She says with a straight face, "scrub me up, mom." This is what she has named the act of someone else drying her off. Apparently I am pretty aggressive with my drying methods. It is more like scrubbing.

Quinn finds the best part of the Phoenix Zoo, and we head all over the place for a lot of 60th birthdays.

Quinn watches Elmo from the hospital for two days after a scary illness while Tim was touring with the Band in Japan.

Quinn's all better but wants yet another pony ride at the Thanksgiving Point Farm.

Mom's back to work, Dad leaves on his last tour, but all the fun continues. And we make a baby ... before Tim leaves.

Avery comes home. Tim runs a race, and Grandma Jan leaves us at Thanksgiving with 7 jars of apple sause that only lastest a few days.

We start selling our stuff so we can survive the Winter. But life is good and happy again, and I finally hit my second trimester.

Tim gets a job offer with Wells Fargo in Salt Lake two days before Christmas. Wahoo! We can eat. It's a Thanksgiving Miracle.

We live it up with Daddy before he goes back to work! We eat out and spend all kinds of money!
