Crazy Hair Day 2012

7 years ago I stopped a neighbors house right after her kids left for school. Her house was a mess and he was so mad. It was crazy hair day at school, and it ha been a drama filled morning go her 4 elementary school kids to get ready for the day. She was exhausted, and she went on a little rant about "how could the school do this to her?" It was awesome. So here I am -- an elementary mom on my first crazy hair day. I was a little nervous!
First, I called that same neighbor to confirm it was actually today. I didn't want Quinn to be traumatized by showing up crazy on a non-crazy day.
Second, I let each girl pick what they wanted. Quinn even drew a picture.
Third, I stayed calm and kept it light.
It was awesome! Even baby Lizza begged for crazy hair.
Before school we took pictures with friends, a s after school we stopped by neighbors houses to see their crazy hair. I think I liked it much more than Halloween.
