Concepts of family ...

Quinn came home and old me that she made a family tree at school. They were given several paper apples, and they had to draw a picture of each family member on an apple and glue it to the tree.

Quinn explained her tree to me, "this is you and daddy and the slug -- that I found but I think i lost it or whatever -- and the Cat and me and Lizza!"

"oh, yeah, I didn't put Kenna because I ran out of apples."
