New Years 2012!!

Welcome 2013! We celebrated this year with the 7th annual New Years Eve bag with Lindsay and Brandon Purdie. This year we added the children and much healthier food than normal. We never even opened the Doritos and peanut butter M&M's! Since the kid were with us for part 1 of the night we carried on a old Doxey tradition where we all banged on pots and pans after a proper new year's countdown (at 7 pm). the kids loved it. Even Lizza had a mini frying pan and turkey baister to help ring in the new year! We had a few fireworks, homemade ice cream, an after the kids went to bed we had cheese fondue, great conversation, a battle of rock band and not enough sleep. We woke up to some happy kids, and Tim made us all French Toast. We talked till noon and napped all day. Good times with great friends. So grateful for this amazing holiday tradition. Lindsay even start planning in October sometimes. :) happy new year, friends!!!
