In the mean time, though, McKenna was not feeling so excited about NOT getting to go. She was sad about it a few days ago, and so her cousin Taryn threw a toy tea party for her. That worked ... Until this morning. As Quinn and Grammy were leaving, she started to lose it. It was Aunt Kristie to the rescue! My amazing sister started talking big and before Kenna knew it, there was a way cooler ice cream Sunday party to attend with whet baby sister and her cousin. The girls had so much fun, and I was grateful for my amazing sister who saw -- rightfully so -- that I might not be up for yet another dog and pony show to distract Kenna from Quinn's special moment. Thanks to Kristie and thanks to ice cream ... At 11 am :)
