Kenna and Lizza really have never had time to hang out just the two of them. Lizza was a baby longer that most with a sensory processing issues that stopped her from walking and playing and catching up with her sisters. Once Lizza could finally walk, Quinn and Kenna usually spent most of their time hind their stuff and keep it safe from "baby." But suddenly Kenna and Lizza are together all the time. While Quinn is as all day school, Lizza and Kenna spend all morning together at home playing or on long adventures with mom. They are learning more about each other. They are becoming buddies. They already hang up on me. We'll be on a long drive, and I'll hear, "I'm Hun-ga-we!!" I am trying to I gore the request, and before I know it there is a harmony of, "I'm Hun-ga-we!! And "Mom!!! Lizza is hungry!!!! Lizza needs food." Many requests are now a chorus. Kenna is still figuring our how to be a big sister. She spends a of time trying to "protect" Lizza as the little mom. This is usually a train wreck. Lizza will be standing a little too close to a door, and Kenna with start screaming, "No, Lizza!!! Don't run out into the street!!!" That is my cue to put down my book because I am sure to have to chase my little one down the sidewalk ... Who is being chased by a helper screaming, "come back!" But they are getting into a groove, and starting to have a lot of fun.
