We could have talked all night

I am in love with Lindsay and Lizza. It is crazy how I connect with them. They think and act beautifully. They are both so honest and so true. They are afraid of life a little like everyone else. But they are not afraid to show you. I have learned so much about life and truth from Lizza's journey to over come depression and pain. And I have learned a crazy amount about love and forgiveness watching Lindsay do basically anything. No one is as honest to me as they are. No one hears me like they do. A day with them is like a recharge. It might sound cheesy, but it is so real. I can't wait to meet more people like them. I have no doubt that there are other people with hearts as golden. I hope they let me in.

We stayed at Lindsay's for 3 days on our trip. Looks like Lindsay's will have to be home base because Lizza is moving to Virginia. Our one night all together with our fams for Sunday dinner this week was not enough. But watching the kids play and talking to my ladies all night reminded me of adventure camp last year at the cabin and gave me so many reasons to be thankful for my 14 years in the beehive state.

Lizza and I joked that we never talk about our trip to Europe in 2000, "what would we say? Remember that time we just talked and talked and sat there and talked and talked ... And you did a puzzle while we talked and talked?" LOL Lindsay and I also don't have a lot
of out and about memories. We don't need them! So what did Lindsay and I do all weekend? Easy guess. :) it was amazing.

She's been thinking a lot about the bible story about the adulterous woman who was going to be stoned. She loves how Christ shows up and just meets Everyone involved right where they are. No yelling. No lecture. He just helps them see and sends them along. She's been pondering this love, patience, kindness, wisdom. I loved hearing all about it. I also loved learning about validation and the importance of validating how people feel. I know this, but she does a great job or teaching her kids this. I love watching her parent, she's so quiet and respectful.
