32

I wanted a quiet birthday this year. No reason to stress out my brand new friends. Plus, I had such a nice weekend with my family last week that I felt like I had birthday enough. On top of that, my life feels like a giant vacation and everyday is my/Tim's birthday.

So, we had this big plan to head to Telluride for a night of camping. I spent the week clearing my work schedule and making fun for the trip. Then we woke up on the big day to a rain storm. But since the tinfoil dinners were part packed and I got a North Face rain coat at the thrift store for $5 earlier in the season, we decided to make the hour drive and see if Telluride was dry.

It was for a minute .... It was dry when we put up the tents. It was dry while we had lunch in town. It was not dry for dinner, dessert,
Or sleeping.

But we committed and had a nice time together. Quinn and Kenna really reconnected. Lizza slept through the night during the loudest storm I've ever heard. (Which is nuts since we barely sleeps through the night at home.) my favorite part was a 2 mile hike we took to priest lake in the morning. The girls loved it, and we will camp there next time.
