First Day of School 2013

Quinn started 1st grade today! And Kenna started pre-K at the school across the street. They could not have been more excited. They were trying to run across the street to school about 45 minutes early. Kenna was all ready for school at 7 am, and her class didn't start until 12:20 :) Our neighbor, Maple, was highly entertained by that. This year both girls said they wanted to be artists when they grow up. While they were gone, Lizza took a nap; I worked and then got one hour to put the new vacuum together and clean the floors. Maybe summer was more fun. But the looks on their faces today were awesome. After school, we celebrated at our favorite ice cream shop in Ridgway with Susie the ice cream lady who sat with us behind the counter with her own bowl of lime basil organic ice cream. We topped off the day with burger night with our new friends -- the Millers.
