New house; new soul

So, we knew our journey in the yellow Victorian was not forever. We would have to move come winter. It came down to one key factor. It doesn't have heat, and we live in the mountains.

We had hardly any options for a new rental, but we were excited about the purple building on main street. But today we found the winner --- a (only slightly) less charming 1898 Victorian WITH a huge yard and more space than we will know what to do with. It is also next door to the free ski hill in town and still only 2 blocks from school. It has some crazy 70's wood paneling that almost passes for cabin-esque, but not quite. But still we couldn't resist.

But questions come up. What will I do with so much space? What will I put in said space? Will we go back to a king sized bed? What if I miss my man laying so far away? Too much luxury too fast can change a person, you know? Ah, but don't worry -- I still have a crappy kitchen with no dishwasher and an oven the size of my face. So at least there is that for some adventure, honesty, and humility.

We haven't named the new house. Still brainstorming. The White House? The Lodge? The New Victorian? The Pioneer?
