Snowy Breakfast -- Artisan Bakery

For Quinn's day off from school, I surprised her with a trip to Artisan bakery. Her buddy from school owns this restaurant, and we had never gone. Well, I took the little girls on Wednesday -- and Quinn was not so happy about that! We bundled in our coats and walked to Main Street since we did not want to wipe the snow off the car. The girls were happy as clams with their pumpkin bars, and they even managed to make a special surprise before we left!

We saw some friends -- you'll notice the picture of Quinn laughing because Kenna's teacher and I had just been hit with falling snow!!

About 30 feet from home Kenna cried and sat on the side walk -- it cost her $1 for me to come back and get her -- (it was not cold and her hands were only cold because she kept picking up snow with no gloves). Since she did not have $1, she agreed to pay me with a beautiful broken blue necklace. I get to keep it forever instead of the usual 4 day rent. Awesome! She is all smiles now!
