The Post-it Truth

While I was at work one day this week, Quinn decorated her new room with Post It notes.

Here are the captions in order:

"Camping"
"Our new house"
"I love my sister and my mom and dad"
"I have friends. Emma, Sam, Lily, MJ, Jesus."

When I got home Tim told me about the Post-It's, and we thought was was adorable that she wrote "Jesus" down as one I her friends. Every Christian parent's dream, right? So
Proud.

So, today I went upstairs I take a picture of said Post-it note so I could share it with all of you and you would see how wonderful and cute we are. Quinn was upstairs too, so she started to read the notes to me as I took pictures.

"Mommy this one says, 'I have friends. Emma, Sam, Lily, MJ.' And then below the line here it says Jesus (pronounced as the Hispanic man's name like the boy in her class.) That is the list of people I do not like so much. Do you know why I don't like Jesus? He is always telling me I am cutting in line. And I'm like, what? That's crazy. There is no line!"

So, it turned out to be something different (Handy, 1998).
