Good Morning and Merry Christmas! I woke up is whispers again this morning -- the quietest voices you could hear. All I managed to hear was Kenna's little voice say, "This is the best day ever!" as she and Quinn snuck down to see the Christmas tree. They ripped through the present pretty quickly once we all woke up. I tried one ok with it. I told myself all month, "just let them do whatever." But it is so hard to see the tiny pieces of beautiful toys all over the floor while everyone moves on to the next gift. But I did my best to be cool and happy. I did however MAKE Kenna go Pee. I was sick of watching the dancing and not in the mood to clean pee off the carpet. Imagine that!! LOL
The girls had a great time. Quinn was ecstatic to finally have a locking truck to use to lock up her treasures from her destructive sisters. I'm delighted too -- much less guard duty for me.
We got daddy a cushion for his desk hair since that is where he sits all day and me a griddle for the kitchen since that is where I stand all day.
I got a beautiful scarf from Jan and we got grandma and grandpa Ouray shirts and PJ pants.
The most magical for me came from tickets to Disneyland and some Disney toys to get us in the mood. So excited for spring break 2014!
The most magical for Quinn was a rock that Lizza got her from the toy store. It hopefully has crystals inside. Must be magical crystals because she told us this is her favorite gift this year. Nice work, Lizza.
All in all we got a lot of Magic for our buck! The Target dolls will have ratty hair by dinner -- them in to the next toy. It was a beautiful end to a month of fun together and time to celebrate light and love all year. Merry Christmas!!
