Skiing in Silverton

This weekend we took our first family skiing adventure to Kendall Mountain in Silverton, CO. We had a great day. The girls were so happy to be skiing again after a week off. The local ski hill closed last week, and Kenna has been asking about Silverton ever since. They skied mostly none stop from 11 to 4!! At one point Quinn stopped at the bottom and let me give her warm kisses to warm up her cold face. Tim and Kenna spent the whole day together, riding the lift and skiing down the four major runs. Kenna tried a black diamond -- and got to the bottom, but only by rolling down without skis. But nothing discouraged her. Quinn spent the whole day mostly alone and never got scared, lonely, or sick of freaking me out!

Lizza and I were buddies all day. We took a walk around town, and splashed in 6 giant mud puddles. We'll hit the slops next year. :)

Everyone was exhausted when we got home. Time for a movie and bed!!
