Psycho Mom

We all have days when we are at our best. That was me this morning springing out of bed, getting ahead of breakfast, and waking up my sweet children who were already showered and ready for school from my amazing preparation the night before. I loaded all three angels into the van ON TIME to get one children to school, and then I returned home to complete 3 days of dirty dishes and two vacations of laundry. That was all done by 10 a.m.

At 10:13 a.m. I heard the door to my office slam and lock -- at the hands of my almost 3 year old. I turned into a monster and didn't even try to ask nicely. She's not allowed in there AND her unwrapped  birthday gifts were all over the floor. I was already mad and screaming when she  finally opened the door to show me a pair of panties filled with poop and pee dripping down her legs on to my carpet. My screams got louder, and I dragged her to the bathroom.

The perfect morning mom turned into such a psycho that both my other child AND OUR CAT started to cry. I pulled it together, cleaned the poop, put myself in time out, did some making up snuggles, and then tried to be really sweet. But probably the damage is done.

The cat will never be the same again.
