Emma's Birthday

Quinn's dear friend, Emma, was having a a birthday this week, but her big sister was very sick in the hospital and mom and dad had to attend to that. We got the honor of hijacking the big day until the family will have a chance to all celebrate together next week. We had so much fun, and it really was a trill and honor for all of us get to love and spoil someone this much for the day.

I love Emma because she says things like. "Can I get a side of pickles?" And "Do you love avocado? Me too!" And when I asked what's the most special thing you could eat on your birthday, she said, "Applebee's .... Or fruit salad." She's also really kind and full of personality. My first memory of Emma was last year on her birthday when I went to eat with the kids at school. She had this way of looking up at you with a huge goofy grin that you can't forget. Happy birthday, Emma. And get well soon, Samantha.
