McKenna has been nervous and excited about pre-school graduation since the FIRST day of the school year. Because of those nerves and since she can hardly keep her socks on waiting for her birthday, we decided to make it a special day. I gave her a new graduation dress in the morning, and we had big plans for a trip to the ice cream store after.
Cuter graduation ceremony ever! The high school band was actually there playing Pomp and Circumstance, and the 9 "graduates" marched in wearing paper graduation hats and tassels. I about died. They called each kid up, shook hands, handed a diploma, and said what the child wanted to be when they grew up. They sang two songs, and then we all enjoyed cake. Kenna was proud and delighted, and so were we.
