Kenna's 5th Birthday

Well, Kenna is finally 5! Kenna feels the pain of the world for just about everything including WAITING for a big day, but she was really good this year. I love making her happy. I live for it. So her big day is also a really special day for me. However, I am tired and pregnant and not always pulling things together. I might have laid down on the kitchen floor crying last night at 11 pm. But I actually felt much better when I got up. Might try it again sometime. Maybe holding it together is over rated!

The big morning turned out beautifully -- much credit due to the karaoke machine that my parents sent Kenna. The minute she saw it -- she said, "it's a pop star machine." And she was hooked. When her sisters didn't wake up -- she used the loud microphone to HELP them out of bed. :)

She got some DVDs for her pop star machine, as so of course we had a family "FROZEN" singalong all morning. Kenna even sang a whole song for my mom on FaceTime.

She also got a baby doll, two Princess and the Pop Star toys, a huge teddy bear, and a bell for her bike. Several months ago she picked out a figurine at the dollar store and begged to have it for her birthday. I bought it and saved it and she forgot. She she opened it, she said, "Mom? Why would you but me something like this?!" She thought it was both funny and confusing! But when I reminded her, she ran to out it on her deal to keep it safe.

We had birthday waffles, and everyone but Kenna was crying and angry about where they sat or who they sat with. But we made it work. :)

Later today Kenna is having a "Rocking Climbing Adventure Princess Party." We have our figures crossed that the ran will pass :) and the cake is all ready!
