Proud Lizza

Lizza was so proud that she did our whole hike today without help. For the last 20 minutes she and I walked in the back, held hands, and chatted. "so I was out in outerspace with no helmet. And pick a star out of the sky. And it was a shooting star. And I made all the wishes. I wish for a giant cotton candy machine and to walk on the walls." (To be able to walk anywhere)

This was a picture right when she realized she did the whole hike herself. Big 5 year old.

Later that day she swam the back stroke for a whole length of the pool and was beside herself. "Teach me more swimming tricks!"
