Sometimes, a lot of the time, we think about moving home to Ouray. But there is one hang up I can't get over. McKenna finally has friends.
Somehow McKenna became the most popular girl in the second grade this year -- by being the nicest. How cool is that? Her friends are Amazing. It's huge for her. She's basically never really had friends.
This week at the winter solstice party I was listening to the Kenna and her second grade friends and as they decorated their cookies to candlelight. They spontaneously started about how much they love McKenna. They were talking about how nice she is and how special she is. It was the sweetest thing I ever heard. How could I take her away from that?
