Quinn's Puppy Party: The Big Day

Quinn is 3!! I think she had a wonderful birthday this year. It was probably age appropriate for a 5 year old, but too bad. I had fun, and I think she did too.

We started out with presents in the morning. Then she and McKenna played until Quinn went to school. At school Quinn got to wear a crown, and she brought candy necklaces to share with her class at snack time. Her teacher said they were a big hit.

When she got home, it was a race to get to naps.

The party started at 3 and lasted until 4:30. It was short and sweet and filled with fun. After the party, we played and went to bed. We woke up at 4 a.m. to head to California.

Good Morning, 3 Year old!

Princess in a Tent!

Party Time!

Everyone got a doggy to adopt and take home. There were many to choose from, and some of the ugliest went first. Kids are so strange. But they were having fun. After they picked a dog, they got to choose a name and give the dog a dog tag.

Then we had a doggy dance party!

Then we had puppy chow -- brown cereal -- and they showed their doggies how to eat like a puppy.

Time for cake!

And we finished off with opening gifts. Here is Asher posing with the BIG box she brought!
And Quinn loved the baby doll that was inside.

I needed evidence that I was there.

Happy birthday, baby!
