She's 5 now

This is Quinn at church at age 5 and 1 day. Please notice the stick-on earrings and fancy new necklace that she made herself. She's pretty hard core. If you could see a picture of me right now, you would find my earrings empty of jewelry. And yet my little one is counting the years to pierced ears. I told her she can get them pierced when she turns eight and gets baptized. I didn't intend to make the arrangement conditional, but she thought baptism and the earrings were related. Later in a different conversation when I told her she does not have to be baptized as that it will be her choice -- she kindly said, "I don't want to get baptized... So can we go get my earrings NOW." I love that she is smart and passionate.
