Together in Paradise

I keep tearing up because I am so happy. Our house is so old and so ghetto and so fun. We have to pull on a string to get light in the bathroom, and the faucet for the shower/bath looks like a meth lab. The "fenced in" back yard does not have a gate. The dining room has strawberry wall paper. The basement had a dirt floor. Burnout tale fits, the front gate is adorable, and our family is all together -- right where we want to be.

And I'm pretty excited about decorating and organizing -- which is usually not my thing. I feel this drive to fix this little house. I want to patch its holes and buy it things and leave it better for the next person who adventures here. They say there are 4 h's of international travel, as I think they apply here. Honeymoon, hate, humor, home. I wrecken I'll go through these phases, but for now I will just enjoy what I feel and how I feel it.

  1. Honeymoon, hate, humor, home - just like Dr. J told us in Vienna. Love this, love you!
