Ridgway Reservoir

Yesterday we had a play date at the local reservoir. The lake has a swim beach that is really fun. It has a playground, a giant slide, and a beach, of course. I love it, it is such a peaceful place. I met my friend Terri there at 4:30, but it was still a little too hot. We agreed to meet at 6 next time. My girls had a blast with Terri's little Sammy from Quinn's class who I have blogged about before. The best was when the girls filled a bucket with sand and accidentally dropped it in about 3 feet of water. They spent an hour on the adventure of their lives trying to find it. It was hilarious to watch them think about dunking their heads in the cold water. Later they recruited a chubby cute little girl who had a new snorkel and mask (from the dollar store) and had her use her "gear" to help find the missing bucket. She did not know how to use her gear, which made it even more fun to watch. Her dad and I were cracking up and joking about how we are both stooges who bought cheap snorkels this year.
