I sent Quinn to her room -- also Lizza to her room at the same time and Kenna in a time out down stairs. It was a moment, but i mostly kept my cool. After about 3 minutes Lizza came down, and I said, "Are you done crying?" She said yes and rejoined the group. Quinn was at the top of the stairs. She seemed surprised when I nicely asked her the same question and invited her downstairs. A few minutes later she came to me and sweetly said, "Um, mom, can I go upstairs and fix the things in your room I messed up when I was mad at you."
Surprisingly, this is progress....
