So Proud: first ski adventure!

I have seriously never been more proud or had so much fun with my kids. The ski hill next to the house opens Monday, so we thought we would try on some of the skis we've been collecting from neighbors. It was quit the mission. Our goal was to walk to the ski hill, holding our own skis, and try to do something -- anything. Kind of a ski lesson with no instructor since I don't know what I am doing AT ALL. My girls were rock stars. There was not one whine, no crying -- just effort and laughter. It was beautiful to me. They tried so hard and then laughed their heads off. What more could a parent ask for?! Olympics 2026 here we come!!

The kids spent most of the time on their backs with no complaints. I did a lot of carrying them up the hill, out skis on, and picking people up. Charlotte came to watch. We came home -- and everyone went back to crying and whining again. Business and usually :)
