Ski Day

After 4 months of living on a free ski hill with their fancy free skis collecting dust in our mud room, Kenna and Quinn finally either got excited or caved to the peer pressure today and gave it a try. Quinn came up with the courage to try the rope tow over and over again -- she would make it about 10 feet, fall down, pull herself together and ski back down. Kenna came out of the house wearing skis -- and a velvet dress. We agreed she'd stick to practicing standing and walking -- but eventually she borrowed gloves from a friend so she could try the rope tow and have a major cold crash of her own. Believe it or not -- they both left smiling and are excited for tomorrow. I was smiling for hours. Go big or go home, Fellows.
