Party time! So surprised there were no broken bones! Everything went great, and we got some sun and snow with a lot of the people who have made Colorado so special. Happy Birthday, Quinn!!
We had to make the Frozen cups and plates with stickers because Amazon was charging $1 a plate for Frozen paper plates. And we pulled out the canopy and hauled a grill from the house to the ski hill next door -- because why under do what you can over do! We and most our guests got sunburned. We added party crashers and surprised guests, and Quinn -- although she can not stop or turn on skis -- did not kill anyone as she so sweetly worried she might. We got climbing the "North Mountain" to search for "Queen Elsa" (Quinn), and the kids worked hard making snowman Olaf's all afternoon. We also managed a beading party in the side during breaks from the slopes. We ran out of drinks and guacamole and Frozen grapes and ate every morsel of the Frozen cake. We had a great time, gathered a lot of loot, and got the most out of the first night of daylight savings. Happy, Happy Birthday, my sweet Kristie Quinn!!
