Moab 2014
Well, it's still snowing here AND Kenna begs us for a new cabin once a week, so we killed two birds with one stone this week with a 3 day trip to Moab and a few nights in a tiny KOA cabin. Three days of hikes; two nights of tight sleeping space. But the kids had a blast. Usually it was me who was the grouch of the group. But really? Who could blame me? Pregnant, tired, and one day I was literally covered in poop and pee all day. We hiked a cool area that ha a really cool a lot canyon and lots of space, dirt, and rocks to remind the kids that they love the outdoor. We hit Arches National Park the second day and saw the sand dune Arch, and Windows, an a great picnic area that could have kept our kids busy an entire day. Then this morning we finished with an amazing hike at Fisher towers with a stop for Cafe Rio in GJ on the way home. Travel with kids can be really hard but watching our kids bond with each other, get excited, and try new things really does make it worth it. Plus is was great practice to stretch out our winter legs for Disneyland in a few weeks. Big month for our little family!!
