New Years Day

For the first year in 9 years, we spent New Years without the Purdie family. It was for too reason. They welcomed their baby girl at 4:30 am on New Year's Eve morning. From what I can tell, Lindsay had the most inspiring home birth on earth, and her family is forever changed and strengthened by it. She's the toughest most real honest person I know, and I can't wait for every detail of Grace's arrival. ps -- Little Grace, your mother gVe me New Years Eve for Christmas 9 years ago. I am willing to share it with you, my dear.

When we got home from VA, we found gifts for the kids from Brie and Aaron. The girls got journals that lock. They are in bed with flash lights writing in their diaries right now. And Lizza spent all day drawing pictures and then telling me what to write on the page. Ok, my write, "L. I. D. F. P"
Ok, little one, whatever you want.

In a final thought -- I have a lot f New Years goals -- one of which is to never go back to my local Kroger. We are going more organic this year, and we have grown out of our local market. Peace out, ghetto Kroger, you're dead to me.
