Halloween 2015

Lately I’ve been working a little too hard – a little too much. And I am not seeing my kids after school very often. I have at least a few hours on M, T, TH, F with at least one child at soccer, and so I have tried to save my Wednesday afternoons to hang with the pack.

But today we took it on the road. All the kids needed/wanted Halloween costumes. We had gone out shopping one day a few weeks ago, and I so tonight was buying night. Everyone had thought and brainstormed and were finally ready to make the big decision. PLUS, while we were out of town, a new donut shop appeared right on our drive to school. So, of course, we needed to test that out, too.

We started our adventure with donuts, and then hit 5 stores and a Hardee’s for burgers because we got home at 7 p.m.

Drum Roll, please ….

·        Lizza – 80’s Pop Star complete with fish net gloves

·        Quinn – Native American Girl

·        McKenna – Mirada-esque blue queen/princess at Masquerade ball

·        Charlie – No money left for Charlie – Maybe a hobo with no pants who can’t walk ….
