Christmas morning 2016

When I stayed up till midnight putting together a giant dollhouse. But we were still excited to see the kids at 6 AM with their sweet little whispers and excited faces. Charlie has a horse croup, but he was still up for playing outside between gifts, wearing his new shoes, and playing with his remote control car. Quinn was thrilled by her new crutches and first aid kit. More dolls for Kenna and Lizza -- and the before mentioned doll house. Charlie was unimpressed by a tent and a record player, but Lizza loved her matching hat, coat, and gloves. McKenna got the cutest pajamas ever, and a sad little stuffed puppy. We have art projects and crafts to last the year, and we are hoping the turkey thaws so we'll have a nice meal tonight. The little front room in our townhouse felt as cozy as ever this morning, and now I'm watching the force awakens.
