Power Outage: deep thoughts

It is snowing hard. The power went out. I can't work. Well I tried to work from my cell. But my Verizon data is horrible. So here are things i can and can not do right now:

1. I can't make cookies or cocoa or anything else cool for a snow storm.

2. I can weigh myself.

3. I can read a book -- if is is already download from my cloud.

4. I think I can use the heat -- but the jury is still out since I barely know if it works on regular days.

5. I can not watch hulu, netflix or YouTube which means I can not entertain myself, entertain my kids or work out in desperation.

6. I can not make Lizza Mac and cheese -- no matter how many times she asks.

7. I can call Tim for now. 65% battery left.

8. I can make black bean salsa ... And I can give it away since there is no fridge to keep it.

9. I can admire my new giant cabinet that used to be the fridge.

10. I can play stomp rockets with my kids -- inside.

11. I can't not finish spray painting the bunk beds -- but maybe I could drive to Home Depot in Montrose and give then a polite ear full about the two cans of heirloom white spray paint that were actually brown. But that seems like so much work.

12. After the stomp rocket toy dies, we can drive around and watch movies on the car's DVD player.

Enchanting? Nope -- this day is about to turn into a Barbie afternoon.

I want cookies. Always.

I also want tuna, which is convenient.
